How do I post an ad online?
Click on the Post a Classified Ad button on the homepage. Choose the category that you wish to place your ad in and click Continue. Fill out the required information fields and click Add.

How do I place an ad in the Ann Arbor Observer only?
Print classified ads are $7.00 per line and require a two line minimum. A single line is typically 36 characters including spaces and punctuation, capital letters count as two character spaces and bold letters count as one and a half character spaces. You may e-mail, call in, or drop off your ad to schedule it for print.

Where is my confirmation/edit email?
If you do not receive these emails automatically, there are three steps you can take to find them. First make sure you typed your correct email address into your posting. If the email still does not show up check your spam and junk mail boxes. Last, make sure that your email allows messages from the domain @arborlist.com. If none of these steps work please e-mail us.

How can I edit my ads if I delete my edit email?
To retrieve the links to all of your posted ads click on the Edit/Delete an Ad button on the homepage. You will be prompted to enter the email address that you used to post your listings. To retrieve single links for specific ads, first find the ad that you are looking for using the search tool on the homepage. When you open your ad scroll to the bottom of the ad and click on the This is My Ad Resend the Edit/Delete Key to Me button. This will automatically resend your edit email to the email address that you used to post your listings. You will want to hold on to this email since it is your responsibilty to delete your ads.

Why do I have trouble getting certain buttons to work?
We recommend viewing and using www.arborlist.com with the current versions of the following browsers:
Internet Explorer, Foxfire, Safari, or Opera.

How do I extend the expiration date of my ad?
You will receive a renewal email before your ad expires that contains a link for you to follow in order to extend the running time of your posting. It is your responsibilty to delete your ads once an item is sold or once an event date has passed.

I cannot see the full posting screen.
Adjust your browser so if fits the full screen. This should correct the problem. If not, you may need to download a more current browser.

I cannot find my ad.
After posting your ad you will receive an email from classifieds@arborlist.com that will allow you to edit and confirm your ad. After you click on the link provided in the email and follow the directions to confirm your ad, you will then be able to see your ad online. Please hold on to this email, it is your easiest way to edit or delete your ads.

When will I receive my edit email?
You should get your edit email within 5-10 minutes after you posted your ad. However, it can take up to a couple of hours. If you do not receive it within 24 hours try the tips given above.

Where do I pick up my Post and Win prize?
Post and Win prizes are available for pick-up at the specified address listed in your Winner Confirmation email. You have 14 days from the email date to pick up your prize.
